We had some really good training last night. A friend of mine, Miguel Espino, stopped by the academy with some friends. Miguel is the owner/instructor at Spartan Jiu Jitsu in Panama. He and I met in Brazil back in 2005, training Jiu Jitsu in Barra da Tijuca.
Miguel and his friends are in CA to compete in the No-Gi World's next weekend. The group plans on touring such esteemed academies as the University of Jiu Jitsu, Atos/Galvao Academy and Fabio Leopoldo's gym in La. We were honored that they chose Oceanside Jiu Jitsu as one of their stops. Our students had a great time training with some other styles.
